My artwork is inspired by the beauty of Jasper National Park which is a constant reminder of environmental protection and why we value the natural world and it's wonder. I'm also inspired by the brilliant textile artists who make brilliant designs on fabric. The combination of these two became irresistible. The fabulous natural world with fabulous fabric to correspond to nature. I began to make pictures of the landscape and embellished this with crochet, ribbon, sequins, beads, and embroidery, to make three dimensional artwork and held a show of my work at the Jasper Historical Museum and Archives in 2018. My work is on display at the Jasper Art Gallery and online with Le Galeriste in Montreal. I appreciate the efforts of the design factory in Montreal in transforming artwork into clothing.
